I just want to say that the University of Hawai'i's "security force" is quite inept. They pointed out in today's paper that UH is the only +25,000 university without an armed security force.

I don't need a paper to point out how idiotic their security was. I used to work at Kahawai, which had its share of "6-6911" calls. We called security once because one of the girls was having "domestic problems" in her room (found out later that she actually gave out just as good/better than she got). Kahawai has NO ELEVATOR and once we told that fat shit, Valentine (yep, his real name), where the room was, he actually had the nerve to ask us "So, do I really have to go up there?"

AND! And this is how fat he was-- dude had to walk SIDEWAYS up the stairs. Now, the guy in the domestics was having was a HUGE SAMOAN GUY. Valentine was lucky that the guy actually stepped back and was rather cordial about what happened (considering we could hear shit break and stuff) because Valentine would've gotten his ass kicked.

I don't post on this journal a lot. I'm cross posting this onto my vox journal as well. While I'm horrified about what happened in Virginia Tech, I feel that this is a good time to point out that if this shit happened at UH, it would be ten times worse. 911 actually calls security to make sure it's not a false call, security then goes out to check and then tells 911 if it's false or not. I've had a girl almost die from a bee sting (she was allergic to the point where she couldn't breathe) down at Gateway and I got my ass chewed out for calling 911 first before security. What's security going to do? Give her CPR? Her airway was fucking closing.

haven't updated in quite a bit.

San Fran was fun, but expensive. I managed to get my weight's worth in makeup, which I was quite surprised about since I did go with a bunch of boys.

I'm going to have to put up a list of what I have, just for my own entertainment. Hmm...

How does my frickin' ipod die so damn quickly?? I charged it on the way home and on the way to work and it was only missing an itty bit of the fucking bar and now it's halfway dead.
:( (And no, it's not halfway alive because halfway alive will not LAST ME THE REST OF THE DAY!!)

1:45PM - it's been...

it's been an interesting day. We found Ed's car... or the cops found it (we can't claim credit for this one). Looks like the sucker was in Mililani, the next town over. It seems in pretty good shape except for the engine "smells really fucked up" according to Ed. I'm guessing the idiots who stole it didn't know how to drive stick and really tore up the engine. The funniest part was that when they left the car, they ARMED THE CAR. They turned on the alarm!? You stole the fucking car? Are you scared that someone's gonna steal it back?! Idiots.

my head is still pounding from mother's day... they can shove a hell of a lot of people in that damn ballroom.

I figured that I better use this LJ since I requested to join mac_cosmetics. I'm mostly on specktra and stiffedagain, so I'm not used to this whole talkingtomyselfjournal type thing. Just a little schizophrenic (sp?) sounding to me. :)
